How to Read Literature Like A Professor

If you reading about people having a meal:

Sometimes a cigar is a cigar, and sometimes a meal is a meal. But most of the time a meal means something in literature.

Intercourse has more meanings than sex--so does meals.

It is an act of sharing and peace. When you are eating you are not breaking heads.

For instance the Cafeteria with Issac Singer.

Think about your Thanksgiving meal. The many generations together. In display: we will age and die--our narrative and the world's.

Symbols-- How about a cave? What does it mean to you--bring your own experience to it--no one explanation.
